.Net Windows Forms Radio Buttons Misbehaving…

I’ve just recently discovered some odd behaviour for .Net windows forms radio buttons. We’ve got a bunch of them on a form (inside of a custom wizard control, so some panels will have none and others two or three). Strangely enough, sometimes they are checked by default and sometimes they aren’t. We haven’t set the Checked property anywhere, and they have more or less identical properties (other than location, name, text, etc.), yet some of them are checked and others are not. I’ve really got no idea why this is happening.

Of course the easy way around this is just to set them to be all unchecked on the form load event, but I’m still puzzled on why this is happening. A quick googling tells me that I’m not the only one seeing this happen.

Any thoughts?
