Ugh… How Not To Do a GUI in XNA

So I’ve been toying around with some GUI code. This is the sum total of two evenings of work:

Pretty horrible, eh? It’s basically a hacked up version of the Game State Management XNA sample combined with other bits from another online tutorial. Each bit of text is belongs to a different screen. The funky orange thing is actually a button that changes color when you mouse over it.

I just realized tonight that I made a major design mistake and will probably have to recode all the GUI stuff. Ugh.
